Developed in 1994 for Pulkovo airport training center, the software visualization system aimed at highly realistic rendering of virtual airport environment with diverse weather/light conditions: fog, night, snow. 180-degree panoramic view was displayed on five PC screens and projected onto TV screens in the model of avionic cockpit. Used together with an aircraft dynamics simulator, the software helped pilots to train themselves in safe landing at the particular airport. High performance rate of the software provided a smooth frame rate even on low-end personal computers.
